I am a certified teacher in the Wernick method. I use a combination of tried and true methods developed by myself and leaders in the Bluegrass community. My teaching style consists of learning how to play by ear while also covering the basics of music theory and notation. But don’t worry! I make all of my lessons based on the needs and wants of the student to get you playing before you know it. Even if you’re a complete beginner!
I offer a free bi weekly 1hr group (jam) class to help my students apply what they are learning in private lessons. This is open and free to all weekly students because playing with other musicians in a safe and non-threatening environment is the fastest and most fun path to being a well rounded musician.
